OPEN 26 - I’m delighted to bring you the first show of 2026: and it’s filled with just over 100 pieces of amazing art. The opening of the show is on 8th February from 2-4.30pm - all are warmly welcome!
The gallery received over 350 submissions/pieces of work, by 140 artists from across the UK. I’m excited to have selected 48 artists work to exhibit in Open 26.
The exhibition ends on 21st March at 4pm and the gallery is open Friday - Sunday 10-4pm (our Winter opening times).

During the exhibition some of the exhibiting artists will be selected for the following prizes:
Overall Winner - cash prize of £250 and immediate entry for 2 shows during 2026 & 2027.
Selected Artist prizes - immediate entry for 2 shows during 2026 & 2027.
Ceramic Artist Prize - selected to exhibit in the ceramic areas of the gallery on an ongoing basis - at least 12 months.
Peoples Prize - voted as best artist/piece of work in Open 2026 by our visitors - Gift voucher for £100 to spend at Old Lock Up Gallery & immediate entry for 2 shows during 2026 & 2027.
