The gallery is closed until 8th February - January is such a quiet month - it’s a good time to take a break and catch up on a few things. The gallery re-opens with Open 26 - the galleries annual open competition - 140 artists entered - 48 were selected for the exhibition.
During exhibitions we are open Friday - Sunday 10-4pm (Autumn/Winter Opening Hours). Please check our exhibition programme before visiting the gallery.

Purveyors of fine and contemporary art, sculpture and ceramics for your home. I take great pride and care in sourcing and exhibiting some of the best artists within the UK. Our interest is centred around quality art work: which is full of meaning, creative expression and humanity.
There is also an additional ground floor space called ‘The Bothy’ which showcases our artisan & handmade crafts. I endeavour to promote the sustainable ethos of ‘Buy better, buy less’: both within the gallery and The Bothy.

Situated on the edge of the stunning Peak District National Park, Derbyshire, in the historic village of Cromford Derbyshire the very birthplace of the Industrial Revolution and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The gallery can be found tucked away in the village and on the second floor of a beautiful 18th century cottage. One of the first cottages to be built in Cromford - originally it would have been surrounded by fields.
The Old Lock Up Gallery - curated and managed by Rachael Pinks - opened in July 2017, prior to this the space was Rachael’s art studio from 2011.
