Testimonial:
“The Monoprinting workshop was excellent. Well planned, fantastically resourced, superbly developed. I enjoyed the two days, learned much that I am excited to put into practice in my printmaking. I was keen to develop work without using a press and it met this need beautifully.
We had a great teacher. Clear, supportive, good at helping individuals within a group setting. The sessions were well structured and inspiring. She brought along interesting books as additional resources and shared her processes with generosity. She negotiated time schedules and explained her rationale for the sessions. All brilliant.
The gallery is a beautiful space for a workshop. I felt welcomed. The atmosphere was friendly and it was wonderful to have Danish pastries and be able to help ourselves to hot drinks when needed.
Thank you both so much for a fabulous workshop.”

Autumn is such a beautiful time of year and the colours to be found in nature can be completely stunning.
It's a time when the days get shorter, there's more of a chill in the air and we become more aware of the seasons and of the changes in nature.
To celebrate this annual festival of colour, join artist Jane Bevan for a day workshop creating artworks from natural materials including leaves, acorn cups, conkers and other autumnal treasures.
After a short foraging walk in the picturesque village of Cromford we will create a mini autumn wreath; stitch and layer leaves on canvas; thread folded leaves into wall hangings and make concertina paper books, illustrated with drawings, collage, text and paint. Simple techniques and materials but with the potential for making joyful and celebratory artworks to take home.
A time for ourselves to experiment and play together and find our creativity through nature.
All materials and refreshments are included. Bring your own lunch/packed lunch.
£85 per person - book/reserve your place by paying a £25 deposit here on the website.
